Visualizing Sexual Assault at MIT

All of the data presented on this website was taken from the MIT Sexual Assault Survey. The survey has a response rate of 35%, or 3,844 students. The survey was conducted in the semester of Spring 2014. According to the survey summary, "the purpose of the survey was to understand students’ perceptions and opinions about different types of social behavior, and their experiences with sexual assault and sexual misconduct".
